Applications are invited for European Research Council funded posts in the laboratory of Dr. Francesco Saverio Tedesco at University College London (UCL) and at the Francis Crick Institute, London (UK). Candidates will join a dynamic team working on translational research projects focusing on neuromuscular disease modelling, tissue engineering and development of new experimental therapies for muscle diseases.
Post-doctoral Research Fellow

The post-holder will be expected to produce independent, original contributions to the aforementioned subject areas, supervise junior lab members and help with lab management. Candidates are expected to have track-record and expertise in at least one of these areas: human stem cell biology/cultures (ideally muscle and/or pluripotent stem cells), gene and cell therapy, disease modelling, tissue engineering or mechanobiology.

The post-holder will provide technical, administrative and research support to Dr Tedesco and his group. In particular, they will be involved in managing the laboratory and provide support in performing experimental work, including (but not limited to) cell culture, molecular biology, microscopy/imaging and student supervision.
